Indemnity

By signing this Indemnification Clause, the participant and both members of the team (hereinafter referred to individually and collectively as “I” and/or “the participant”) declare that they are aware of and agree to the following (indemnification) clause:

“I am aware that participation in European Healey Meeting 2027 (hereinafter: “the Event”), both for the participant and for third parties, as well as for his/her goods, and/or goods of third parties, entails risks for damage – including personal injury, property damage and consequential damage – which risks are expressly accepted by the participant.
I declare that I am physically and mentally healthy as well as able to participate in the event.
The Stichting European Healey Meeting Nederland (hereinafter: “the Foundation”), its organizing committee and its employees, promoters, sponsors, circuit employees, board members and officials do not accept any liability for any damage that the participant suffers in connection with participation in activities or that the participant causes to third parties through acts or omissions.

The participant declares that he/she will not hold the Foundation, nor the above-mentioned persons or bodies liable for any damage suffered by him/her in connection with participation in the event, material or immaterial, including personal injury.
I declare that the owner of the car has given permission for the use of the car in this event and is aware of all the risks that may arise from this. I also declare that the participating car is insured, as required by law, valid for those parts of the event that take place on public roads.

I also declare that as a driver I am in possession of a valid driver’s license. In the event that the navigator does not have a valid driver’s license, he will not participate in the event as a rider and the rider and the navigator therefore declare that they will not switch positions. Should they change anyway, the participant accepts all risks of any other driver than his. 

The participant is prohibited from participating in these ride(s) under the influence of alcohol, drugs and reaction time influencing medication.

If an accident does involve alcohol, drugs or reaction time-influencing medication, all damage will be recovered from the person who used the above substances and is involved in the accident.“
If a member of the team is under 18 years of age, the safeguard clause must be countersigned by his legal representative or by a person authorised by his legal representative on presentation of a written authorisation

This Indemnity is a translation of the Dutch version. The Dutch version of the Indemnity will always be decisive for the interpretation of the Indemnity.
